Just had to put my 2 cents in.  I am part owner of a college bar & my mother 
is  teacher.  The cheapest tippers are by far: teachers!  This is a 
generalization because I do have a few teachers who are very regular who do 
tip well.  However, whenever we have a group of teachers in the bar the tips 
are few and far between. Do not get me wrong, teachers do noble work and do 
not get paid what they deserve.  But along with that I have found through my 
years in the business that they as a group do not tip.  Sorry if this offends 
anyone, but in  my bar at least this is a truth.
