First, welcome to the forum. Please understand that you are dealing with a lot
of worldly personalities that are only products of their environment here at
Webtender. None are right or wrong. Don't feel discourged to come back.
Next, I have to admit that the tipping thing doesn't get to me anymore and
because of that it seems that I make more money. I just treat everyone the
same.... or rather I treat them the way I'd want to be treated. What I find is
that some still under tip ( and they always will ) but then others make up for
it. Just last night I had a lady tip me $20 on a $35 tab. I didn't even do one
bar trick for her, just treated her nice. This happens all the time. I truly
understand what you are talking about.
A suggestion--Try to get a job where tourists are. Tourists are great. They
have money, are happy and the faces change all the time. Local places can jade
you fast as well as bore you to death after awhile.
