I highly suggest NOT doing this. Bartenders can be sensitive creatures and 
they are creatures working in a fish bowl and most don't know the difference 
between regular critism and constructive....after all they don't come to  your 
job and do this.....if you ever want to say something you have to take another 
approach....like....well....buy a book that you think he may benefit 
from....you say something like; hey,  someone gave me this book and I didn't 
have the heart to tell them that I already owned it, so since I come here all 
the time I thought maybe you'd like it.......push it to him, let a few seconds 
go by then say...that is unless you already own it too then I can give it to 
another bartender..............trust me, he'll take it and will probably even 
bone up on it....
