There are a lot of drinks that are in the same family, but to me, a Black or 
White Russian is a standard cocktail (meaning that it never changes from it's 
basic ingredients....coffee liqueur, vodka and or cream/half & half/milk.) I 
have never seen them called anything else and  I've never had anyone ask for 
one UP...yet.  (I have had a coipla frozen/blended requests while working in 
the Carribbean though.)

Family drinks from the Black White Russian are your Dirty Mothers, Colorado 
Bulldogs, Separators, Mudslides, etc. These drinks , I have found, are the 
ones geographically different. I make them however management wants me too 
wherever I am.
