Ah, but they do. The key word here is "shouldn't." It is our job to provide
what the customer wants without them experiencing a cocktailian snobbery, or
name calling under one's breath. ;0) While it may be your personal peeve, so
be it, understanding that many customers simply don't know or care about what
is the correct way to order.
To avoid such is why I always start the list of questions with "Vodka or gin?"
Is it any surprise that national sales figures indicate that vodka still reins
as the number one spirit being sold/bought?
