To assume that his name is a joke, in the style of Bart Simpson, is a large
assumption. His name is Butt, so it must be a joke, I don't follow your logic
here. sorry. !-)
Another assumption is that the cola is what gives it it's colour, but
considering we hardly know anything about the Long Island Iced Tea, where is
the evidence?
A while ago I remember reading an article by Robert Plotkin, whereby he said
that participants in a LIIT competition would be awarded extra points for
shaking the cola with their drinks, as this knocked out the carbonation in the
cola, and made the LIIT taste more like a regular Iced Tea. Where do people
get these ideas?
Another one from American Mixologist Online Vol. 16, No. 15: "Contemporary
Classics — A frozen Long Island Iced Tea is a refreshing break from
convention."
