I am defending the LIIT. I dont know why so many bartenders have this snobbery
and hate it because it gets people wasted or what, but i believe a well made
LIIT has its place. Its the same as a martini being abused because of its
popularity rather than its flavours.I have many a martini for someone who
thinks they will look cool drinking it, but by the first question asking them
if they like it sweet, dry or perfect i know if they have ever had one or not.
I dont know if i make it different to any other recipe known, but the one i
was taught is the one i use. I think also, it can be a totally different drink
in the wrong glass, either too big or too small.

Does anyone else shake their LIIT before adding the cola?
