That is the sort of answer I was looking for in the first place!

I disagree. I think there are definitely some people who would believe a CL 
was an LIIT but the majority of people who specifically order LIIT  fall into 
2 groups.

1. Those who want to get f*cked up. These people are idiots.........
2. Those who genuinely like the drink and find it refreshing. I have no issue 
making an LIIT for these people. If thats what they want, then fine by me.

Unfortunately, we don't live in a world where everyone appreciates OF's, 
Manhattans, Mai Tai, Mojito, Pegu, etc, etc.

We have to accept the fact that the LIIT is part of our repertoire, simple!

I have found that getting LIIT drinkers to move onto something 'similar' 
(alcohol, citrus, sweetener) is not that hard with a little education! Explain 
the similarities in that respect, and 9 times out of 10, they will try a Marg, 
Daiquiri, etc, etc
