Yeah i'll add to this.
I like a LIIT if its made properly. I believe also though that your right, the
majority of people will order it only for the reason to get drunk and be an
idiot, a 21st drink maybe and what not. But if you make a damn good LIIT, its
been a long hot summers day, and your sitting by the pool, for me my first
cocktail is either a LIIT or a damn good margarita.
I also dont mind making them. For me it isnt about how strong the drink is,
but trying to make sure its all balanced well enough that it doesnt taste as
strong as it is.
Suffice to say, if you can give me a recipe that tastes like a LIIT but isnt
so strong, i would drink that instead, but i am yet to have that event happen.
