Nidal is not talking about you, he is (I assume) talking about the average joe 
and joan. I bet if you used 4 bottles of different rum, they would assume that 
their Cuba Libre was stronger, even if the total alcohol was still 50ml.

This, of course, wouldn't work with 4 types of tequila. But with rum, gin, or 
vodka, I would guess that 4 different brands of each spirit in seperate 
glasses, topped with cola, and a couple of squeezes of lime. Which one would 
people go for? probably the "vodka island iced tea"! SO SMOOOOOTHH!!!

With the Cuba Libre you are appreciating one spirit, with a LIIT you are 
tasting a mixture of spirit, which cancel each other out.
