Quite simply - New drink recipe - Taste it so you know what it tastes like.

If a consumer calls for a drink that you have never made/heard of and they 
know the recipe, make it and taste it.

Once you are 100% confident you can make the drink perfect every time, do not 
taste it.

That is the way I was trained and it is the way I train.
