Well stated.  You are not limited to or defined by the profession or trade by 
which pays your bills.  (Okay all you lawyers out there, repeat that four 
times and take a good deep breath!  Oops, now I've rudely inflicted insult to 
injury.)  I, dare I say, am much more than someone who twists bottle caps and 
can flick the switch of a blender to create a deliciously beautiful cocktail.
Knowledge is power.
More contrite sayings?  Expand your horizons.  It can blow your mind.
This whole discussion would have been edited for the playground mentality 
other forums struggle to maintain.  Kiddies, play nice out there!!  And then 
there's the concept that this should be dedicated only to providing sage 
advice and words of wisdom to other bartending dilemas in an effort to assist 
others as public service.  Yuk and how boring surfing the web would become.
I personally enjoy the reality of the opinions, ideals and tools by which we 
choose to disseminate those forms of communication rather effectively (or 
affectively).  I am delighted to see that there are others within the 
bartending profession that happen to voice a single concern or opposing theory 
beyond anything more than the "which is better" arguments, say for example, 
like Bailey's vs. Brendan's.  Sometimes I just want to scream as loud as 
humanly possible "Who cares?!"  There are more weighty issues that deserve 
attention and careful consideration -- no matter how outrageously wild it may 
be.
Someone incensed (Oh would someone give me a dictionary to assist my stabs at 
spelling!!!  This forum needs the additional necessary feature of running a 
spell check! :) enough to respond or feel as though they were in some way 
insulted, well it was effective communication.  State your case for the 
record, but have the kahoneys to support why you were insulted, and perhaps 
all can expand and experience some personal growth ourselves to learn or live 
life vicariously through someone else's point of view.  Something to consider.
