Hmmmmm, the no table service in their country makes sense on why they come to
the bar, but I'm still not clear on why they order one bloody drink at a time,
let you make it, order another, let you make it, etc. Sometimes I get a big
smile on my face and tell them that I know that I'm just a stupid American,
but in this case I CAN remember more than one thing in this pretty little
head-o-mine. Of course it's said with a twinkle if an eye and with a flirting
tone to it. I usually get a better than normal jockey's whip. (cockney for
tip.)

It reminds me of the tables you wait on that want something everytime you go
to the table. It keeps you trapped to that one table for a long period of time
and you can't get to your other customers. I have one certain family that I go
to dinner with on occasion that have never worked in the biz and they peck the
server to death with little stupid requests everytime they come to the table.
Plus they are lousy tippers. I didn't talk to them about the tipping ( I just
throw money on the table when they aren't looking when leaving) but I did talk
to them about how when the server brings them something they have asked for
that they always ask for something else when the server returns causing the
server more trips than needed. They honestly were not aware of they they did
this. I guess because they have never been in the business.
