Concurrence aplenty.
I've hopped from forum to forum in the past, and prefer this one to any of the 
others, simply because it's unregulated. The idea (as George points out) that 
bartenders' discourse should be restricted to whether Absolut citron should 
really be used in a Cosmo, just appears so limiting to our potential, and a 
little bit Orwellian. Mr. Webtender (glad you liked the book), has set up a 
brill wee resource here, and although the forum is unregulated, it tends to 
become self-regulating, due to the nature of its users (even though ewe're all 
utterly pathetic *wink*).

As I've mentioned before, Lynn, I'm never really bothered what other users 
think of my posts, but thank you for your kind words. I realise I'm an 
acquired taste, so think of me as ewer new blended Scotch.

To conclude:
The Webtender rules, and this forum is an ideological idyll. The Queneau, 
however, is a twat.
