I have the same with especially older people. I believe they think I have to 
work harder when they order al at once. They order very slowly waiting to ask 
for the next drink when I've finished the last(this is not in a cocktailbar). 
I can't recognize them by their accent but most times I recognize them because 
they talk as if they don't finish their sentence.
