What does a dictionary have to do with 'making drinks' and 'drinking drinks'?

And not just Oregon, mind you. So, Mr Modnar... how do you rectify the 
situation when there are LAWS AGAINST the tender drinking while working? 

And whether there are laws or not, is it a 'must' to 'take a shot' with a 
regular? How many visits makes one a regular, btw? And, since I'm obviously 
enjoying this, what constitutes 'now and then'? 

Perhaps there are REASONS why the laws were enacted....
