I worked in Cayman as a dive instructor, and could never understand how the 
bartenders on-island could afford nice cars!  

US citizens don't need a work-permit to work in the USVI do they?  I've 
thought about moving and working as an instructor again, and maybe tending bar 
on the weekends to get enough to make ends meet.  The problem is in many 
foreign-controlled islands it can be very difficult to split a work permit.
