At the school I went to, when the teacher talked about trying drinks...he made 
a point to say that even if you are a non-drinker for whatever reason, you 
need to try the drinks.  So when it came around time to sample drinks, even if 
there was one that you knew you hated (there was a guy who hated anything with 
tequila)...he (the teacher) "pushed" you into trying the drink anyways, even 
if it was just a sip.
