I definitely agree. I'm fresh outta bartending school so I may not know
exactly what I'm talking about, but one of the terms we had to learn is
"Liqour with Carbonated Beverage" and "Shot with a Side, Back, or Chaser" both
of which are pretty much self-explanatory. Basically, if a person orders
something that's unheard of or most other folks don't order, just shut up and
make it, even if they feel compelled to tell you how it's done.

a large number of mediocre ones Quality over quantity."
It's really how the customer wants to have it, and if they complain that the
drink is "mediocre," well it's what they ordered and you as the bartender did
exactly as they asked.
