$10-$1000 per shift.  it varies.  is the house a Union house or Non-Union 
house?  that in itself is HUGE.  Union bartender in town tops off at $15.60 an 
hour, full benefits(best in the state), 8 hour shift(actually 7 because of one 
hour break), and most of the time the barbacks set up and break down the bar.

the sad thing is the union bartenders that make the most, clear $1500-$3000 a 
week in tips, have been at the same house for 20 years or more.  it is the 
seniority concept.  those old timers are jaded and miserable.  this town has 
money floating all over the place.  say 100 bartenders move to vegas to make 
the big money, maybe 1-2 will land the great gig right off the bat.  this town 
is all 'who ya know'!

the other problem is most of the bartenders that come here from somewhere else 
are big fish in small ponds.  they get here and most of them dont realize how 
cut-throat this town is.  i have seen many people get caught up in the excess 
of this town and leave with their tails between the legs or die.  no joke.
