My little patter (for Margs too) is always:
"So would you like that 'frozen' or on-the-rocks?
"What's the difference?
"Big Difference, " I say brightly,
"One looks better, one tastes better!"
And I'd certainly encourage the customer to go for the looks if their reasons
were more aesthetic ("A cocktail for her birthday") or vague.
I seldom make (or expect to make) converts from one to the other, but I DO
expect to teach them how to order their desired frozen strawberry version
correctly next time.
