I'm not at all saying that the frozen isn't a perfectly respectable 
variation but even this post makes it clear that the "Natural", "Classic" or 
original default Daiquiri is shaken , and the Frappe' is a modification.

They serve the frozen version aka "Daiquiri 
Frappe'", which has few drops of maraschino as well. In case you want the 
classic version the magic word is "Daiquiri Natural", which is the shaken 
version without maraschino.

I love both, in their place, but in absence of any communication with the 
customer (eg service bar), If asked for a "Daiquiri" what you would get back 
would indicate what I thought of you from basic observation.
Shaken - Someone who looks like they know what they are asking for.
Frozen - Stupid Tourist.

If you knew what you wanted, and wanted frozen, you would have said frozen.

And I think the same would go at La Floradita. Unless it's over-run with Dopey 
tourists and they've given up doing it properly. Didn't seem too badly 
inclined that way at all when I was in Cuba 2002.

I'd venture the same for the Margarita. 2 drinks. A Margarita, and a Frozen 
Margarita. Choose.

-disclaimer. I was hanging out in Havana, Cuba, yes, but can't recall 
specifically hitting this bar. I just found the tourism in general there and 
then to be totally under control, that's all. I've worked serious resorts. 
This was not corrupted at all.
