Ha! One of the things I do is: Smile at them (genuinely...at least I try to
make it look that way) and say "Ya know, if I owned the place I'd do that for
ya, but I just sell this stuff for someone else right now. Then smile big
again in a "Gee I'm so sorry smile".....they seem to get it without me having
to go nay further.............Ummmm if they say "And put it on the house"...I
say..."Gee, I forgot my ladder today". That one is corny and the only reason I
keep saying it is because they keep laughing for some reason.

I recently spent some time with Scott Young and he told me a good one. But of
course understand that he would say this in a nightclub/meat market type of
place: When a girl would ask him to make the drink "good" or "stronger" or
even want a "free drink" he says...."I'm sorry, have we had sex yet?"
