i make margaritas all the time at my place...
i never use rose's lime juice, because i think it tastes nasty...fresh
ingredients take the margarita to the next level...that said, i work for a
corporate bar, so my options are somewhat limited...it's a simple formula:
good tequila, cointreau, sour mix, sugar or salt on the rim, fresh lime
wedge...i've seen some bartenders squeeze a fresh lime into their margarita
with a bar tool, and this i find a good addition to the drink...some people
LOVE grand marnier in their margaritas...we also use grangala or midori in
some drinks...it's like anything else: ingredients must be fresh and of high
quality...if you use cheap stuff or rose's lime juice, it may have that nasty
taste...
