does no one else put a touch of gomme in to their mix? it balances out the
harsh limey taste alright?

Any bar that uses sour mix also puts this in to the margarita instead of lime
juice, this sour mix is made from lemon and gomme (well it's meant to taste
like it is anyway). From this i used to make margaritas with lime, lemon and a
touch of gomme. Is this wrong? I do have a bit of a taste for lemon i have to
admit.

i usually make it now with 2 shots of tequila, a shot of cointreau, a shot of
lime juice and a dash of gomme.
