I think so too.... but I happen to be in an environment where doing 'right' 
isn't always acceptable. 

This is a big part of why I am not happy where I am right now. It's as if I'm 
"The Snob" and the rest of them (the employees) don't care. 

I had a server that had some free time and wanted to come behind the bar to 
learn to make drinks. I was making an apple martini, and told her to chill the 
glass. One of the other servers (who is also a 'bartender') told her, 'you 
don't need to do that, she is the only one that does that mess'. 

Annoying, but it's indicatative of some of the mind set I'm exposed to.

It will continue so long as management sees it as 'not necessary', and 'the 
guests don't need that'. 

I will continue to do what I KNOW is the correct thing because I won't always 
work there, and I don't ever want to lose my rhythm from doing it the way I 
was taught. (Hey, I went to bartending school, F'Chrissakes)
