This is one of the problems that I keep addressing to my superiors, we dont 
have any doorstaff as we are only a very small bar (45 capacity) touch wood we 
have only had trouble twice in 18 months of being open, but as its a trendy 
bar we attract the younger crowd so ID'ing is a must for us.

Just one incident from last night, a group of lads came in, quite complient 
when asked for ID, until they produced European Driving Licences, after asking 
them why if they live in the UK they hold European Drving Licenses 'because 
England is in Europe init!' was the reply, I refused to accept their ID and 
sent them on the way, as the guy was putting the card back in is wallet, his 
UK Driving License dropped on the bar which he hurridly snapped up and refused 
to show to me, obviously this guy was only 17 and was trying to blag with his 
fake ID, Some folk are so dumb, only wish we had the power to confiscate these 
IDS!
