Asking for someone's identification card has never been a problem for me. Even 
though I am young, I don't get intimidated because most people feel flattered 
if carded by me. The only one's it really bugs are the people without ID. If 
they don't have ID they can't be in the building period, no exceptions! But of 
course doormen have always made it easier for me, because they've been good at 
making sure the kiddies goto the playground instead of inside the bar.
