Due to the new strict licensing laws introduced here in the UK, we have 
decided to increase our ID policy to that if you look under the age of 21 
(sometimes 25) you will be asked to produce ID to verify your age.

Now as this is becoming common practice in most bars over here most customers 
have no prob producing ID, but a few just irate that they have been asked and 
throw a strop.

Just wondered how you folks deal with the situation when asking for ID, how do 
you ask them, do you be serious about it or have a little fun to make the 
customer feel at ease!
