I call this the freindly abuse of the patrons...... they keep coming back,
they must love it... the masochists (gawd I know I spelled that wrong). I have

For the first couple of years of bartending I thought My name was, "Hey, Can I
have a...". Now it's just a wink and a smile to a couple and then the switch
to the "I see you, but you see, I have x-ray vision and I'm concentrating on
why on earth you would wear purple polkadotted boxers" gaze.

That joke doesn't make you laugh still? Me neither. I really had to train
myself to price first, and it was a struggle, but now it's second nature when
I'm busy, and boy does it cut down on the time!
