That's a great tip right there!  Funny, I came across it on another bartending 
site when I was new to bartending and trying to get some ideas about things to 
work on.  It really made me work to become as ambidextrous as possible.  I'm 
right handed and was a bit awkward with some tasks in my left hand but just by 
forcing myself to do this (even when it's slow) I've improved a lot.  Pouring 
a juice with one hand, putting the bottle down, reaching for the gun with that 
same hand...NO!

Of course the guy who started this thread is working high volume, I would hope 
he'd be doing this already.  Still, it's a great tip for the lurkers out there 
who are trying to pick things up.
