I think we are probably getting into another topic here... which is the 
overall lack of motivation/quality in the "average" bartender.

There are far more bartenders out there who just don't give a damn, and are 
standing behind the bar just because they happened to fall into the job and 
find it a better option then driving a garbage truck.

"Quality" is an elusive, and often misunderstood concept. How do you define 
Quality? How do you measure it? How do you know when you have found it? Or 
more importantly, how do you know when its missing in some product which you 
have never experienced "Quality" in before?

The "average" bartender not only does not understand "Quality" in cocktails, 
but they often aren't even looking for it. Worse yet, they often don't even 
recognize it when they eventually encounter it.
