Guys... I must tell you I am new to this forum, but not to this biz, and I 
could not agree with you more. I think we should take a good look back to when 
there were barmen.... note the word. BARMEN, a true craftsman that came in 
with his own tools and did the task at hand with style,true, but the style was 
a thing called class. I dont know if you feel the same way I do but I have 
found myself more often than not in the trenches working harder and harder for 
a buck. I am not putting the blame on the bartenders (aside from a few T.G.I. 
Fridays slingers) I think the customers have changed alot more than our trade 
has. However to stay alive in the modern age I am torn between wanting to 
preserve a long lost tradition ..... and, well... eating. simply put....am I 
the only one?
