I'm 34 and I get carded all the time. Most liquor stores in Oklahoma card 
EVERYONE as a valid id is required to purchase alcohol. At clubs, most door 
staff will card EVERYONE also. The idea is that nobody gets upset if everyone 
is subjected to carding. Also, keeps liability down. This does bring up the 
issue of; what if the door person let an underage patron in as a "favor."

I have worked in clubs where once patrons passed the door person then you were 
 not to ID again. I always ignore this "rule" as I am not going to risk my 
license because some $6/hr door guy has the hots for some 19 year old.

Here in Oklahoma we recently updated our driver's license. They used to be 
incredibly easy to fake and all you needed for a "real" license was to present 
a borrowed birth certificate.

My policy, and the one I teach and recommend to clubs that contract with me, 
is that when in doubt, don't serve them. It is not a customer's "right" to get 
served in your private establishment. We get licenses all the time that have 
been washed or otherwise abused and they are coming apart. These people can't 
understand why we won't take thier ID. I tell them to spend the $10 and get a 
new one.

Chicks can be the hardest to ID becauce they often look nothing like their 
photo (hair cut, perms, colors, glasses, etc.). You never know if it is them 
or an older sister or friends ID.
