If I am going for a dry lime Daiquiri, then I use the following:

50ml Havana Club 3yo.
12.5ml Fresh lime juice
5ml gomme syrup

Shake hard with ice, and a small quantity of crushed ice. Double strain into 
cocktail glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

This is adapted from the recipe that Dick Bradsell uses, however his has 15ml 
of gomme syrup.
