Out of curiosity, what are the laws on having Cuban rum sent to you from a 
country that isn't Cuba? Havana Club et al is readily available here in Oz and 
the UK, and I'm sure you would find someone on Webtender (including me) who 
wouldn't mind fedex'ing you a bottle or twelve.

Is the embargo on trade of any Cuban goods, or just on goods being sent from 
Cuba itself? And if it came to it, there's no reason we couldn't pull an ol' 
switcheroo and fill a Bacardi bottle with Havana Club and send that instead, 
in case it was checked.

It sounds like a bit of effort, and probably is, but you shouldn't be excluded 
from using these rums simply because of where they are made. I presume someone 
on the boards has already put this proposal up before, tho.
