I have to lighten my pockets when moving at speed so I often drop my wallet 
and cell in the drawer early in the shift leaving me with just pen, opener, 
keys, change till keys, gaming machine keys.
I was taught long ago that there was no call for an employee to have cash in 
their pockets while working shift (till, tip jar or nowhere) so you won't find 
a dime on me.

Now, the fun part is my little box of tricks. I love my props, so fully 
stocked I have a little tin box containing:
Asprin, Band-Aids, String, Safety Pins, Matches, spare lighter, tee-light 
candle, small torch, multi-head screwdriver, disposable camera, whistle, bow 
tie, false fangs, false thumb...
Deoderant (mostly used for fireballs), lighter fluid, lighter gas refill 
(ditto).
Chocolate bar (for that second wind on a tough night)
Specially made little (NZ) cocktail flags for special guests.
Tape, both black duct and double-sided. Condoms.
Craft knife. Spare shoelaces or cord. More pens, inc Sharpie-type marker. 
Post-it notes.
Sunglasses (for those all-nighters - Arg! It burns, it burns!)
Random flashie things.

BUT
The piece de resistance was a bottle of aloe vera after-sunburn gel.
I was working in the islands, in the tourist bars. 
The only thing more entertaining that finding out where the girlies tan-line 
stopped was being able to help them with it ;-D

'Twas this production from my magic little box that had the entire team agape 
and earned me the nickname "Daniel-san" for the season. Ah, good times...

I'm currently running only about 1/2 of the above-listed quota on hand, but 
the bar has a fully-equipped workshop out back, so when I feel the need for 
power drills, craft wire, soldering irons, rubber sheeting or spray paint, I 
can still get inventive...

Yes, I like my toys.
