I see your point Dan.  And you are right. However, it is hard not to feel 
obligated to give a good tip, if you have been running one tab for 5 people 
all night. You get the tab at 2:30, and it is $20.00.  Thats when I cough up 
the large tip... Basically paying for what I and my friends drank, and letting 
the bartender rip off the bar if he wants to.  Your right.  It is wrong, but 
tempting, and never a spoken agreement between me and the bartender.
