   Someone is uber sensitive.  It's best to not name names.  While some of 
your posts I find irrelevant (dated perspective), or annoying (IMO), my 
responses in this thread weren't meant to hurt [anyone's] feelings.

   When the original poster asked about "CLUB Cocktail Service" in which all 
the ingredients are served separately, I most certainly thought he was 
referring to bottle service in nightCLUBs (where a party orders a bottle - say 
of Absolut - which is served on ice in a bucket, with various mixers like 
Cranberry, Sprite, OJ, along with garnishes, glasses, and a bucket of ice).  

   My first reply to you in which I said "Chance, he's talking about bottle 
service in nightclubs" was to let you know that you got the wrong idea of what 
he was asking about when you responded with the details of a pretentious and 
silly formality of service from way back when.  Apparently I was wrong, and 
the said pretentious method is exactly what he was asking about.  Imagine that.

   My second reply, under your post (which detailed the said pretentious type 
of service), was simply me expressing my opinion of a formal service that 
caters to people who have too much money for their own good (or desperately 
pretend to) and need to feel 'catered to'.  I've worked in a couple of this 
city's most exclusive nightclubs which have the same kind of 'look at me' 
crowd who often act like something they're not, and that kind of snobbery and 
posery just makes me want to puke.

   And so, my reply of "Ghey - pretentious B/S." wasn't directed at [anyone] 
but instead was my opinion of the 'club service' described as follows:

"...a method of serving drinks that existed primarily in private men's 
clubs and on trains and lux passenger ships in the first class     
sections in the US and ... a few very exclusive places ... only one, 
The Whitehall, is even partially available to the public ... club 
service is a requirement and is utilized only in 5 star environments 
pretty much."

one myself.
