I may be little late in answering this one ...I just found this site...but 
have you all considered that maybe it's NOT his wife he wants to get "tipsy". 
It just might be some poor unsuspecting girl who has refused his attentions or 
a friend he wants to get more "friendly" with. All those who gave him advise 
on what type of drink would be best just might have helped him to "rape" a 
woman. Alcohol does lower inhibitions in most people. I know I have taken a 
few drinks to "relax" myself. I hope I'm wrong in this, but it is a scary 
thought nonetheless!!!
