Don't get me wrong, I hate the crap. I think it's one of the most vile things
I've ever tasted. That's got nothing to do with what I said before though...
I also happen to agree with you that they are a business that is in it to make
money...forgive the directness, but 'Duh'.
Here's the point, and I'm also referring to the other post you just made on
this thread. And I can't state it more clearly than this: ---Red Bull claims
they don't promote in bars or for the use of their product in bars---
There's another thread on this forum from about a month ago (maybe a bit
more), that describes various promotions, even including advertising with red
bull and alcoholic contents mixed together on heavy card standups. You should
reference that thread if you've forgotten it (sorry, I'm in too much of a rush
right now to look it up, I'm headed to a flair video showing at Tommy Rockers
soon).
Here's the point, they are directly lying. Don't get me wrong, I don't really
care that they are lying about where they promote. I also don't care that
their product is shown to be mildly dangerous when mixed with alcohol (gee,
what product isn't?). Honestly, I really don't care about them as a company
or product at all. I was simply interested in providing some fruitful insight
into the lie. Not that I care about them or that they are lying, just that I
find it funny.
Perhaps I'm misreading your responses, but they seem to disregard the point of
the thread to instead focus on the product itself, or perhaps how they are
promoting it. Sorry for the long-winded explaination, but I think it'll
clarify the context of all of the postings on this thread.
