I wasn't miffed with your reply. Only that you didn't reply to what was asked.

And I found your tone a bit condenscending. 

I wasn't aware that my 'miffdom' was so apparent. I wasn't trying to make it

See.. like this. Now, since you seem to be trying to be helpful, let me ask 
you: do you think that I would insist on giving a sweet drink to one that 
doesn't like sweet drinks? Better yet, do you get the impression that I give 
any one any drink that they do not request, or want?

If you do think this, what on earth would give you that impression?

If you do not think this, why, then, did you bother to make this comment? 

Maybe if we could get past this, you wouldn't think I was miffed by your 
replies, and I wouldn't think you were condescending.

Which would be why I bothered to post my original question, and would welcome 
answers to that question.

Because I never said that I do give them sweet drinks. Please read just the 
words on the screen. If you are going to assume, it will make it difficult to 
communicate.

Let's just stick with the original question. If you and I can get past that, I 
will gladly answer your other questions.

Again: if you can get back to the original question, then I'll work on trying 
to answer these others for you.

The question (and this is a different one than the original one) is 'Have you 
noticed the same?'
