Funny, where I was working, we actually had a LOT of sweet drinks going out.  
There was one girl that came to me every night just to have me pour some 
fruit-flavored experiments for her.  As long as it didn't come out as pure 
sugar she was happy with it.  I think this is just one of those things that 
goes from bar to bar or region to region.  Where I came from we really did 
make a LOT of sweet and fruity drinks.  At one point were were going through 
watermellon pucker at a crazy rate, almost as much as tequila.  This is just 
another one of those things, some places have it, others don't.
