This distinction came up in an old thread (might have been you) but I've never
heard of such a thing. Depending where you go someone will make a WR with
milk OR cream OR half and half, it seems to be at the discretion of the
bartender. I personally think half and half (50/50) is ideal; milk is way too
thin and I think cream makes the drink too heavy. But whichever dairy product
you think is best, it's still a White Russian. I really don't buy that
there's a different name for each dairy product.

Here's a link to the recipe on the Kahlua website:

Note that it calls for milk or cream - apparently it's still a WR either way.
Whatever the origin of calling the drink a Caucasian, this is a nickname for
the same drink, not a dairy variation. Just like a French Connection and a
Beautiful, or a Dirty White Mother and a Separator (i.e. two names for the
same drink).

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
