In fact a whole bunch of stuff is already there in the handbook. Most of the 
how-tos anyway. OK, we can cross-reference to them no problem.

I said last time we thought about this that it would be nice to link straight 
into the most definative discussion/post, rather than pull the answer straight 
out into a compiled list. Something about the nature of some of those 
discussions is what makes the boards so real and non-textbook-like.
