Don't transfer any tabs! Make customers close their tab before
they moving to the table. All customers at the bar even they're waiting
for the table are yours.Period! Of course, do it nice,polite way.
As for tipping out,it's another story. After they moved to the table you're
just service bartender,making drinks for the restaurant. And that cheap 
bitch(waitress)has to tip you out or else...
I don't know where you are at but in NY City it's a common thing.
My bar is located right in the middle of the restaurant(about 150 sits) 
and can sit exactly 18 patrons+. And I got the same situation.
Don't let them sit on your neck,man!
