Tara,
The most important thing to know is that here at Webtender we get peddlers of
products about once a week to once every two weeks. They all do the same
thing; paste a little patter about their product (or whatever they are trying
to promote) along with a link to a site. The other thing that they have in
common is that it's usually their first post and know nothing about the
community of where they are posting. (But I would imagine that they click
around to many forums and such pasting the same info.) So around 26-52 times a
year here at Webtender we experience this. This is a lot.

You did this very same thing and one hour after your post I happened to click
into Webtender to see what was new and I replied to your post. Understand that
if it wasn't me it would've been someone else here. I promise you.

Just for a quick glance here are some recent similiar posts below.

Here's the most recent on August 2nd (which in 8 years at Webtender is the
best one I've ever seen):
[Lana Lang] Introducing Lichido

August 1st:
[Scotty] interview with Bong Vodka founder

July 21st:
[clubplanet] Miami Bartenders

Here's the ebay bartender on July 15th:
[Sobe_D] Bartender makes history with WORLD RECORD TIP!!

I probably missed some as I scanned for these quickly, but my point is that we
are constantly being spammed. So please don't take things so personal. My
first post to your ad/spam was not mean at all. My exact words were; While I
appreciate your enthusiasm, well, that video you show on your website--I
believe--is not the kind of video to seal the deal for a book purchase from
this global group of bartenders.

Nothing in my response was mean or was meant to be mean. Only you percieved it
that way because you have an emotional relationship with your product that
you've worked so hard on. (Trust me, if others here had clicked into Webtender
before me, this thread would be totally different because you would have
gotten more replies much different from mine.)

Your first post:
[the hated one] Atlanta Bartender

My reply and 2nd post:
[Cheryl Charming] Re: Atlanta Bartender

Your reply to my post:
[the hated one] Re: Atlanta Bartender

The only advice I can offer is that anytime that anyone chooses to put
themselves out there for any reason, know that you have to accept all
critisism of all kinds from all kinds because you will get it 100 times more
than you know. It's hard at first, but it helps to know that it simply comes
with the territory and there's no getting away from it. You just have to keep
positive for yourself. That's all that matters.

Cheryl
