I see where you're coming from Apetail.

It sounds like Lichido is a helluva lot better than Hypnotiq or similar in teh
Cognac Liqueurs category though.

I would, Lana, be interested to know how you first came up with the flavour
profile: was it while mixing at home/office/in a lab/kitchen, and then finding
a manufacturer to recreate your flavour profile? Was it something you worked
personally with the manafacturer to produce after having a brainstorm? Is it
just a bottled formulation of an old favourite family recipe?

Also, who is the manufacturer in France? It would shed alot of light for us to
know this and guage quality of production rather than have to trust the "back
of the bottle" notes. :-)

I often find the "real" story behind certain products far more interesting and
informative than the "brand" story given by marketing depts. Just see the
threads here about Havana Club, Santiago de Cuba, Matusalem etc...

Also, Lana, would it be possible to ship me a sample to the UK? I would like
to introduce it my next Cocktail Jam in September in association with
www.allaboutbar.com
 Cheers, M c|_|
