Here are some Temperance songs (sheet music) from the 1800's into the 1900's. 
The oldest was 1840:

My favorite is # 22. It's a title called:
You Cannot Make Your Shimmy Shake On Tea.
It's not a true temperance song, but mentions it. It was written by Irving 
Berlin in 1919 for the Ziegfeld Follies. It's hilarious! They even use the 
word Hennessey in it! It could be turned into a modern rap song!!! :)

It talks about lemonade and tea...hey, isn't that called an "Arnold Palmer"?

Other lines are:
That only comes with such drinks as Green River, Haig and Haig and Hennessey.

What's Green River?


# 67, I'm on the Wagon Now,  uses the term "drink chemist". 
And eight-two drink chemists who had places on my beat, Have had to quit their 
business and are working on the street. Hmmmm, he calling a bartender a drink 
chemist?


# 103, Champagne Charlie, says:
In drinking Madam Cliquot's best...
no year.


You'll find all kinds of things by searching; drink, beer, wine, whiskey, 
cocktail, alcohol, tavern, rum, etc.
