Funny thing I've noticed (and I posted my own agreement to this earlier).  
I've yet to meet a bartender that actually liked this stuff.  I know a couple 
that like specific energy drinks, but none that were big red bull fans.  
Moreover, most of the bartenders I've been friends with have just generally 
hated the mix of energy drinks with anything (unless it's Jager, I think the 
jager overpowers the bad energy drink taste).  While we all might not entirely 
agree on the effect and legalities of red bull and alcohol, at least we have 
good enough taste not to order it ourselves :)
